Wendi has been a member of Midwest Krawlers, in Kansas City, MO since 2019. She also started a group, Newbie Women Wheelers in 2020, where she helps women who are new to off-roading learn about their vehicle, how to safely drive over basic obstacles, and utilize basic recovery gear. She is a member and supporter of Tread Lightly. She is also a certified Tread Lightly Trainer. Wendi not only goes wheeling in her home state of Kansas, but over the last year and a half she has wheeled her 2019 Jeep JLU, Shark Bait, in many states from the East coast to the West coast. Her Jeep got his name because she is “Shark bait”! She enjoys cage diving with Great White sharks. Her given name is Wendi, but everyone knows her as Sqwerl!
