June 6, 2022 – USA: The inaugural edition of the Nomad Overland Virtual Adventure Rally begins today, with forty teams taking to the virtual starting line in a new and exciting challenge. The teams will be out adventuring all across the United States racking up points for driving overland stages and completing different activities over the next ten weeks. The points are tallied and their scores will be posted here weekly as they vie for the top spots on the leaderboard.
The teams have to plan their own routes within the guidelines of the Rally format, drive their plan and complete tasks related to offroad driving, navigation and outdoor adventure. IF they want to play to win, they will also need to look for and find specific things along the way and tackle weekly online challenges that test their skills and knowledge in areas like advanced navigation, expedition management, recovery and bushcraft.
