I got into off-roading when trying to select a vehicle to tow behind our RV…a Jeep was the first word out of my mouth. The more research I did, I found a whole new planet called Jeepin’ in early 2017. I purchased a 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 4.0L, 5 speed manual, no aircon and needed a lot of upgrades to take it off-road.

At 18 I was the first woman to be elected as President of the Optimist (Ladies) Club in our local district. While my husband served in the Navy, I was an Ombudsman at the command and regional level for six years, Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader earning my WoodBadge Beads (I’m a Bobwhite) and earning numerous awards at the Department of Navy level for my leadership and technical excellence skills.

My husband Tom and I just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and our son, Dylan, who is 23, is living and attending college in Richmond, VA. I have two fur babies, Daisy and Shadow (brother/sister) that are 12 yrs old. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, cruising, wheelin and laying by the pool in the summer.
